521" Ford motor uses Eagle crank and rods, 9.0 to 1 Probe forged pistons and
Edelbrock "Super Cobra Jet" heads. Then we fit in a Comp Cams full roller
camshaft with 294 deg duration, designed to make mountains of torque. We
added an Edelbrock "Victor" intake manifold and an 1,150cfm Holley
carb. We then installed some Sanderson Shorty headers and a Mallory dual
point ignition. This goes in a 62 F-250 pickup
but we want to break it in right before we put 300 hp of NOx to it so we put
it in our 55 Ford F-1 pickup which has air conditioning so we had to adapt a Sanderson freon compressor.
